Epic Games has confirmed the release time of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 on Twitter. As expected, the new season will begin on Friday, May 24th, 2024. Server downtime typically starts around 2 or 3 am EDT and typically lasts about four hours, give or take. Based on past updates, the release was expected to happen between 1 am and 6 am CT, with downtime starting at 1 am and the game likely going live between 4 am and 5 am.
