How to turn Do Not Disturb on or off on your iPhone

With Focus settings in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 or later

Do Not Disturb can silence calls, texts, and other notifications so you can focus on what's important. You can turn it on or off manually, or you can set it to turn on automatically at certain times or locations. Here's how:

To turn on Do Not Disturb manually:

1. Open the Control Center. 2. Tap the Do Not Disturb icon. 3. Do Not Disturb will be turned on until you turn it off.

To turn off Do Not Disturb manually:

1. Open the Control Center. 2. Tap the Do Not Disturb icon again. 3. Do Not Disturb will be turned off.

To set Do Not Disturb to turn on automatically:

1. Go to Settings > Focus. 2. Tap the Do Not Disturb focus. 3. Tap the toggle next to Scheduled. 4. Set the start and end times for Do Not Disturb. 5. Tap Done.

To set Do Not Disturb to turn on at a certain location:

1. Go to Settings > Focus. 2. Tap the Do Not Disturb focus. 3. Tap the toggle next to Location. 4. Tap Add Location. 5. Select the location where you want Do Not Disturb to turn on. 6. Tap Done.
